FobBlocker is essentially a battery cover that disconnects electricity whenever the key fob is at rest (after 3 min).
This internationally patented device has gained such notability for its reliability and success rate in combating relay attack theft that Netherlands’s insurance companies made it a requirement that all vehicles come equipped with a FobBlocker installed in the key fob.
Manufactured in Europe since 2017, we continue to sell thousands of units and have been recognized and certified by Kiwa as well as CE. Each unit carries a 1 year warranty against manufacturer defects.

FobBlocker is available in two different programmed modes – no tap and double tap. It is designed to fit all modern cars with keyless entry. The flexible circuit board will allow the car to be activated with motion (no tap unit) or a double tap (2X tap unit). It will automatically deactivate with no movement for 180 seconds for both units, and upon walking away from your car 20-30 steps for the double tap unit.
Car thieves have been using Relay-Attacks to carjack newer cars which feature wireless key-fobs.
This simple battery attachment cuts off all the power on your key-fob after 3 minutes of no motion. That means, when your key is resting on a table, it shuts off, preventing any thieves from using a relay-attack to jack your car.
To reactivate the key, there are 2 different programmings available. In the first option, by simply picking up or moving the key around the key around, it wakes up the fob. In the second option, tapping 2x on the key wakes it up.
Due to constant motion while traveling, it doesn’t accidentally shut off while driving. Even if it were to shut off, the worst that can happen is the car not detecting the key-fob. But it by no means should cut off the engine.
